YouTube Was Down?

YouTube was down and is still having issues worldwide, originating from a rare global outage affecting multiple services of YouTube for millions.

Starting from the 18th of February 12.50am, around 30,000 and more in reports came flooding, in a huge spike outage on Downdetector, saying that not only YouTube but the YouTube app, YouTube Music, YouTube Kids and YouTube TV were all having very similar issues, one main issue being when a user would click on a video that they intend to watch, an error message pops up saying the following "Video Is Not Available" with the description on the video not accessible to the consumer either.

I myself, am a consumer of YouTube, so you are definitely not alone with this endeavour at all! When scrolling through the platform, I came across a comment of which stood out to me, "They are using AI to target why/t men it only effects caulkasyanz no other rayse" then following with "No matter your ideology either you could be a R or a L".

I know, it struck as very odd towards me too! As to which I had to respond to have more of an understanding to what they were saying, because to a naked eye, it can look racist or very political in many ways as they were very specific to say that it is only affecting 'White' people alone, however, they said that they mis-spelt 'certain' words on purpose so the AI algorithm does not ban them, which to me, again it struck as odd, why would AI ban users for using certain words on the platform.

With the increase in use of AI, it can be understanding to why some people are acting like how a 'tin-foil hat guy' would act in an event of an alien invasion, because to a technically, in the eyes of some users it can look as if A.I is truly the Alien Invasion.
